At a party the other night, one guest arrived two hours after the official start time. She then took her sweet time browsing the catalog, chatting with friends and asking myriad questions about the products. I collected all the other orders and packed up my display, because she showed no signs of reaching a decision. By this time I had been at the hostess’ house for 4.5 hours, and I was impatient to leave and get to bed. I was mentally bracing myself for her to choose one $12.99 item, and then she passed me her order form – $197!! I guess it was worth hanging around after all.
